Rio is a huge city with many neighborhoods to explore. To begin your stay, you’ll visit the Christ statue, learn and explore the queer historical neighborhoods, and finally go on top (ahem!) of Sugar Loaf with the glamorous drag queen Lorna Washington and in between, a fantastic lunch in Porcão Rio where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Rio!

Another day can be leisurely spent in Ipanema, the gayest of all neighborhoods (even during the day)! It’s particularly queer along the strip between the restaurant NewNatural, on Barao da Torre all the way to the beach in front of Farme de Amoedo street. In Ipanema you can find gay-friendly bars, clubs, cafes, theatres, cinemas, bookshops and shops.
