For those of you who are visiting
Rio de Janeiro as a tourist or on business, how about enjoying a
different sort of leisure?
Warm sunlight, calm and crystalline waters, virgin
Atlantic Forest and indescribable natural beauty. This is Angra
dos Reis, a paradise only 2 hours from Rio. There are many bays,
more than 1,000 beaches and around 365 islands. The largest island
is called Ilha Grande, a perfect place for a trip in a boat or a
bit of diving.
 |
Arriving in Angra you`ll embark in the Mr. Dunga,
a 45 foot trawler with a fully trained crew, and equipped with lifesaving
and safety equipment, oxygen, 2 bathrooms, fresh water and a delicious
snack service. You`ll then sail around a few of the islands in the
Ilha Grande bay, choosing the best places for scuba diving or snorkeling,
to enjoy the wonderful clear turquoise waters. Certified divers
will have the opportunity to do two dives; and the non-divers can
discover the wonders of the submarine world by means of the “baptism”
they call Discover Scuba Diving. And for those not wanting so much
adventure, they have masks and flippers on board for them to enjoy
the peace and beauty of snorkeling, where even from the surface
it is possible to see large numbers of multicolored fish, star-fish,
turtles and rays.
After the diving you`ll stop for lunch, relax and soak up the wonderful
views of Ilha Grande.
On the way back, if we have time, you can stop
at one of the beaches for a last dive in paradise!
In the evening you`ll return to Rio. Don’t miss this chance
to visit one of the most beautiful places in Brazil!
