Marcelo Armstrong, owner of Favela Tour, has been doing sustainable work in the favelas since 1998, where she trains local people how to be guides. In this Tourism Workshop they learn English, Spanish, tourism and get to know the touristic points of Rio. The locals that guide you on this tour were able to improve with Marcelo’s help to become professionals guides, working also outside the favela.
